Roof Renovation in Třebíč – Combining Metal Roof Tiles and Traditional Standing Seam Roofing

For this roof renovation project in Třebíč, we chose a combination of two types of BILKA metal roofing. The main roof areas were covered with BILKA Classic metal roof tiles, whose profile resembles traditional roof tiles. On sections of the roof with a low pitch, we used traditional standing seam roofing with a double standing seam.

The reason was not only aesthetic. Each section of a roof has different technical requirements, and the roof pitch is one of the most important factors when selecting the appropriate roofing material. On low-pitch roofs, significantly greater attention must be paid to the watertightness of the joints and safe water drainage.

A traditional double standing seam creates a highly watertight connection and makes it possible to cover roof areas with significantly lower pitches. This is why we used this solution on the most technically demanding sections of the roof.

The result is a technically sound and visually consistent roof that combines the traditional appearance of metal roof tiles with the advantages of professionally installed standing seam roofing.
