Attachments or components are strips made of galvanized sheet metal that are mounted on the joints and transitions of the roof covering. The standard length of these products is usually 2 meters, while the thickness of the steel sheet ranges from 0.4 to 0.7 mm. The width of the attachments can variably correspond to the dimensions of the used mounting shelves.
In the design of joints that are visually significant, special elements are often used, for example, ridges and the upper ends of end elements, provided with a polymer coating. These elements perfectly integrate into the overall appearance of the roof, harmonizing with the color of the metal bags. However, it is important to emphasize that the decorative value also lies in covering the joints that are placed under the sheets of metal bags.
For example, for areas with lower visual exposure, it is more practical to use ordinary galvanized strips without colored coating. In this way, costs can be effectively saved, while at the same time we achieve the necessary tightness without excessive investment in aesthetic decoration. This is especially advantageous if the aesthetic element will somehow be covered under sheets of metal tiles or under a roof structure with a groove.
Roof bars accessories of additional elements are used for metal bags:
- The end strip is a key element that protects the roof shield from rain and prevents snow from blowing into the roof space. Its function is not only limited to protection, but it can also add additional security to metal sheeting sheets during windy weather, preventing them from loosening or tearing off.
- A gutter is a key roof accessory that prevents water from seeping into the face plate or rafters, regardless of the type of roof installed. Thanks to its use, you are guaranteed protection regardless of the specific roof structure. If this strip is provided with a quality zinc layer, you can be sure that it provides reliable protection against corrosion caused by moisture.
- Endova closed is used on roofs in order to increase the attractiveness and external gloss of the roof parts. In addition, the pre-installed gutter helps ensure rapid drainage of precipitation from the surface of the sheet metal roofing. The lower end is installed under the metal bag and visually resembles a corner.
- The ridge of the roof. Experts definitely recommend using a ridge at the intersection of the roof slopes. An elegant ridge not only adds charm and style to the roof, but also provides an aesthetic and finished look. A standard roof without a ridge can appear unfinished and without a proper finish.
- Adjacent board. This roof accessory for metal tiles ensures reliable sealing of the seam around the pipe or vent.
- Snow barriers for roofs. In winter, there is often a danger that an avalanche will fall from the roof of the house. By installing a useful accessory such as snow barriers on the roof, you can effectively prevent this problem. These barriers effectively divide the monolithic snow into smaller fragments, which allows to quickly eliminate the risk of deformation of the drain or its complete separation from the wall. At the same time, they reduce the risk of injury to household members, which is very important in terms of safety.
