Trapezoidal sheet metal T45 is a structural profiled sheet metal made of high-quality steel sheet metal, galvanized on both sides and protected by a polyester surface treatment. Thanks to the profile height of 45 mm, it achieves high load-bearing capacity and is intended primarily for low-slope roofs and intermediate floor structures.

This type of sheet metal represents an economically advantageous and technically reliable solution for the construction and reconstruction of buildings with higher demands on statics and long-term durability.

Use of trapezoidal sheet metal T45

Trapezoidal sheet metal T45 is widely used, especially in:

• agricultural buildings, farms, silos and stables,
• sports centers and sports halls,
• intermediate floors and load-bearing ceiling structures.

Thanks to the high rigidity of the profile, it is also suitable for structures with larger spans of load-bearing elements.

Production specifications

T45 trapezoidal sheet metal from BILKA is produced in a nominal thickness of 0.4–1.0 mm according to the requirements of a specific construction.

Standard module lengths are from 0.5 m to 13.5 m. Non-standard lengths can be made to measure after prior consultation with a technical specialist.

The sheet metal is available in a wide range of colors according to the sample book.

Technical characteristics

T45 trapezoidal sheet metal is made of double-sided galvanized steel sheet, protected by a polyester surface treatment. The nominal material thickness is 0.4–1.0 mm.

The profile has a total width of 1010 mm and a useful (covering) width of 980 mm, while the profile height is 45 mm.

The weight of the material varies between approximately 3 and 12.5 kg/m², depending on the thickness.

The minimum roof pitch is:

• 8° if diagonal joints are not used,
• 14° if diagonal joints are part of the structure.

Warranty and service life

The following warranties apply to T45 trapezoidal sheet metal depending on the type of surface treatment:

• 10 years for color stability and corrosion protection for a glossy surface,
• 15 years for a matte surface and wood decor (Wood),
• up to 30 years for the GrandeMat surface treatment.

The estimated service life of the structure is up to 60 years. The material is designed to withstand significant temperature fluctuations and demanding climatic conditions.
