Complete Renovation of a Terraced House in Prague 10 – From Roofing to a Turnkey Solution
A complete renovation of an older house can significantly increase its usable floor area, property value, and attractiveness on the real estate market. One of our completed projects is the renovation of a terraced house in Prague 10-Záběhlice, where the original roofing project gradually developed into a complete turnkey house renovation.
1. Third-Floor Extension and New Metal Roof
The first stage involved the complete removal of the existing roof, raising the front and rear exterior walls, and constructing an additional third floor. This was followed by the installation of a new roof structure and modern Retro Click Panel Plus metal roofing in anthracite, made from 0.5 mm thick steel.
The extension increased the usable floor area of the house while giving the building a more modern appearance.
The total cost of the third-floor extension and roof reconstruction was CZK 600,000.
2. Complete Turnkey House Renovation
After successfully completing the roof, the investor entrusted us with the complete renovation of the property.
Our work included facade renovation, replacement of all windows, landscaping around the house and courtyard, demolition of existing interior structures, reinforcement of intermediate floors, new electrical installations, water supply and sewage systems, heating installation, plastering, and complete interior finishing.
All major construction work was carried out by a single contractor – STROY17 s.r.o.
3. House Renovation as an Investment
This project was designed as a real estate investment. The owner purchased the property with the intention of renovating it and subsequently selling it.
Our goal was therefore not only to ensure high-quality construction work but also to optimize renovation costs and maintain the economic viability of the investment.
Choosing suitable materials, organizing the individual construction stages efficiently, and achieving a modern appearance without unnecessary expenses were essential.
4. From an Old House to a Modern Home
The result is a completely renovated terraced house with an additional third floor, modern metal roofing, a renewed facade, new technical installations, and a finished interior.
