What should be considered when ordering metal roofing and its installation?
Metal roofing can be used for both residential and non-residential roofs. It should be noted that the installation of metal roofing should be carried out on slopes of at least 10 degrees as recommended by the manufacturer, but it is recommended to install it if the slope is greater than 12-15 degrees. A metal roofing system is not ideal and has its disadvantages, the biggest of which is noise insulation. Strong winds or hail can cause increased noise. But with the right installation and choice of the right thermal insulation, this is minimised.
The second disadvantage is the many cut-outs when the roof is shaped incorrectly. If you have many irregular shapes, it is better to choose asphalt roofing. If your roof has simple shapes, metal roofing is the ideal solution for your roof considering the price-quality ratio and service time. Another important element in the installation of metal roofing is the existence of ventilation in the space under the roof. The presence of an air grille provides the space needed for air circulation under the roof. It is also necessary to use a vapour barrier, which MUST be carefully bonded between layers to prevent the thermal insulation from becoming damp from the steam in the house. The price per square meter is determined by several indicators. One of them is of course the price of the metal roofing, its accessories and the installation itself. Below we have listed approximate prices for different types of work. The key factor is the area of the roof. The price per square metre depends on the shape, as more complex roofs with a greater number of cut-outs require more material and are more challenging to complete. Many factors are taken into account when setting the price per square metre, but we would like to give you one piece of advice! If you haven't had experience installing metal roofing and have no experience, it's better to rely on professionals. Remember: cheap is always expensive. We recommend consulting our managers so that together you can choose the most suitable material for your roof. They are familiar with all types of roofing materials and have the necessary knowledge to give you practical advice.

VERY IMPORTANT!
- The cutting of metal roofing is only done with mechanical or electric metal shears with subsequent paint treatment in the same color shade of the metal roofing. It is strictly forbidden to cut with angle grinders or saws and other fast and hot metal cutting methods. This is due to the fact that when heated, the zinc burns and the polymer coating. As a result, rust will inevitably form at this point, which shortens the life of the metal!
- It is not recommended to use shoes with hard soles as they will scratch the metal.
- The screws must be the same shade as the tiles to avoid disturbing the appearance. They must also have a backing with a rubber seal to prevent water ingress.
- Be careful when installing metal roofing, use the manufacturer's recommended amount of screws, as metal roofing is lightweight and can be blown by the wind.
- Finally, one last piece of advice: if you have no experience in installing metal roofing or similar material, you'd better rely on the professionals. It will save you time and money, because a person with no experience can make a mistake that will later cost you money to buy new material!
