BILKA sheet metal fences can be made of painted steel sheets (four types of surface treatment are available), SSAB steel sheets with double-sided coating, and Aluzinek material. Below is information about each of them.

    1. Painted steel sheets (4 types of surface finish).

These parts of the fence can be coated with polyester, matte polyester, pural and or plastisol.

• Polyester

This is the most common type of coating, resistant to corrosion and UV radiation. The thickness is about 25 microns. It is chosen for its affordable price and resistance to fading.

• Matte polyester 

The main feature and advantage at the same time is the matte surface. This polyester is resistant to scratches and fading. The coating thickness is about 35 microns. 

• Pural

This is a polyurethane coating with a thickness of about 50 microns. It provides a higher level of protection against corrosion and mechanical damage and is resistant to extreme weather.

• Plastisol

This is a vinyl coating with a very thick layer of protective material (thickness of about 200 microns). It has a high level of resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion.

    2. SSAB steel sheet

Made of high quality steel produced by SSAB (Sweden). Each fence sheet has a double-sided coating, each side of which provides a high level of corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

    3. Aluzinek

It is a steel sheet coated with a layer of aluminium and zinc. Composition: 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. This combination provides extremely high corrosion resistance and good reflectivity (which reduces heat from the sun). The bonus is a smooth and shiny surface that looks great.

The thickness of the metal sheet is from 0.4 to 0.7 mm. The standard width is 92.9 mm. The following standard lengths are available: 1.25 m/1.50 m/1.75 m/2.00 m. It is also possible to produce lamellas of non-standard lengths on request.
