Bramac cement-sand tiles from the German manufacturer Monier are made by mixing cement, water and natural silica sand. The composition of the bags includes mineral pigments and dyes. Since the color obtained after the material dries is gray, dyes and mineral pigments are used to color it, which help to create a range of colors. The paint is applied with a special automated gun that paints the bags and accessories twice: once while they are still wet and a second time when they are completely dry. The production process takes place by pressing, after which the mold is dried at a temperature of 60 °C for one day. After this procedure, the bags are placed in a dry room for 28 days.

The concrete roof tiles is a replacement for the clay (ceramic) bag, which must be fired - which makes production more expensive. Cement-sand (concrete) tiles is made from cement, which is much cheaper than clay, so the price of concrete roof tiles is lower. The price of these  tiles is currently more expensive than the price of metal bags, but cheaper than the price of asphalt bags in most cases. The asphalt bag sticks and it takes more time. Only for the comb there is an accessory called a comb strap that sticks to the bags and another accessory, the comb bag, is placed on top. This is how modern combs are made - with dry assembly without welding, etc. There are many innovations in the construction industry, for example, outlets are fixed using additional accessories of self-acting clamps. • Weight of 1 bag - 4-4.5 kg;
• Weight per 1 m² of covering - 36-49 kg.

• Resistance to sun, snow, frost, rain, hail or strong wind;

• Worse waterproofing: to avoid problems with waterproofing, it is necessary to use an accessory - a membrane with a density above 160 g/m². This membrane is usually attached with construction tools - nails, some prefer gluing.
• The weight per square meter is higher than metal or asphalt  tiles.
• It is not suitable for reconstruction or weak structures.
• Accessories for the covering are more expensive.
• Unlike asphalt tiles, a wooden grate is required, which makes construction more expensive.
